How does Pingercast messaging work?

  1. Create your custom widget and add it to your site.

    We'll walk you through creating a custom widget for your site so your fans can easily subscribe to your Pingercast update. Just post a little snippet of HTML code to your site or MySpace, and you're done.

    When your fans visit your site, the widget invites them to opt-in to your Pingercast. Next time you send a Pinger message, it will go to to your opt-in subscribers' mobile phones.

  2. Send your Pingercast message.

    Whenever you want to send a message, either upload a WAV or MP3 file, record on the web or simply call a number to record on your phone. You don't need any special technical skills to send a message.

    Fans receive your message right on their mobile phones. They can reply and forward the message to their friends who can subscribe right on their phones

  3. View results.

    Pinger provides detailed reports on every Pingercast message you send. You'll know exactly how many new people joined your Pingercast as well as how many listened, forwarded or replied. We also let you know how many new people subscribed from each forwarded message.

How do users join my Pingercast?

How do I know if anyone listened?

Pinger provides extensive reporting, including how many people listened, replied or forwarded the message. We can even tell you how many joined from a forwarded message.

Sending a message with the Pingercast service is more personal than a newsletter or a 160 character text message. People love it. Listen rates can top 60%, with forward rates exceeding 40%. Pingercasting is a great way to connect with fans while growing your subscriber base.
