Pinger Voice Messaging lets you trade voice messages with anyone's mobile phone. It's better than voicemail because there's no ringing or lengthy prompts. It's more personal than text because it's your voice. Pinger is free and works on virtually any mobile phone in 20 countries.
Just call your local Pinger number or 858-2-PINGER, say the names of the people you want to message and talk. You can message one or all your friends in 20 countries with one call. People you send a message to get a text instead of a ring. They press a button or two to listen. Then they can reply or forward by hitting a single button so it's fast and easy to message back and forth.
We don't charge anything to use Pinger, but your carrier may charge for phone calls or text messages.
Pinger works with any US phone that can make a phone call and receive a text message.
International users can send Pinger messages in 20 countries, but they can't browse user profiles, tap people or create their own profiles through the voice interface. International users also cannot access the Pinger web interface at this time. They will also need to enter their contacts from their mobile phone directly.
